How do you even begin to explain to someone how love can make you feel everything and nothing all at once?
It is that unexplainable, undeniable visceral energy that Swiers pours into her work. True to form as an abstract painter, her creations are the physical manifestations of who she is, how she thinks and feels, and, quite powerfully, presently exists. Her unique connection to others created through her craft allows both to understand and dream a bit more.
"Art exists everywhere and always," says Swiers. Jesse has been experimenting and creating art since she was a little girl. She has dedicated her time from grade school through the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising up to now exploring her own interpretation of beauty.
"The best way to describe my process is equal parts personal passion and inspiration while allowing the art to speak for itself," Swiers explains. "I often find myself starting with a blank space and something I cannot understand. This uninhibited approach allows my intentions and the art to form on its own. My creative voice is a compromise of the chosen medium and the unconscious emotion that is expressed on canvas. I merely consider myself the vessel that allows the art to come to life."
